Beef Continentale

1-1/2 cups cubed cooked beef
1 4-oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/3 cup chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon leaf thyme
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 can condensed tomato soup
½ soup can of water
2 tablespoons chopped parsley
½ medium bay leaf
2 cups cooked noodles

In a skillet, cook beef, mushrooms, onion and thyme in butter until onion is tender. Add soup, water, parsley and bay leaf. Cover and cook over low heat 20 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove bay leaf. Serve over noodles. Makes 4 - 5 servings.
