Bourbon Balls

1-1/4 cup finely crushed vanilla wafers
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons cocoa
2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/4 cup bourbon, rum or brandy
powdered sugar

Combine crumbs, sugar, nuts and cocoa, mixing well. Stir in corn syrup and bourbon; blend thoroughly. Set aside in refrigerator for several hours. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar. Store in airtight container in refrigerator. Makes 3 dozen.
