Cheddar Balls

1 stick butter, slightly softened
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
1-1/4 cups sifted flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon paprika

Cream butter with cheese until smooth in a medium-sized bowl. Blend in flour, salt and paprika. Knead mixture slightly with hands to form a soft dough.

Roll by hand into marble-sized balls (about a teaspoon of dough); place on greased cookie sheets.

Bake at 400° 12 minutes or until balls are firm and golden. Serve warm.
