1 lb fresh green beans
3/4 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 chopped onion
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon pepper
Steam green beans over lightly salted water until crisp-tender. Set aside. Melt butter in a large skillet and saute' onions until brown. Slowly add flour, water, salt, pepper and lemon juice. Simmer on low heat 3 or 4 minutes. Stir in green beans and sour cream. Mix thoroughly. Place mixture in a buttered casserole and top with cheddar cheese and bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
