Lon's Zucchini Casserole

6 zucchini
6 slices bacon
1 onion, sliced
2 cups tomato juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
dash of pepper
pinch of oregano
1 tablespoon flour

Wash zucchini, cut off ends. Cut lengthwise, then slice into 1/2-inch pieces. Fry bacon and drain on paper towels. In bacon fat brown the zucchini. While zucchini is browning tear the bacon into bite-sized chunks. Add onion rings and bacon to the zucchini followed by the remaining ingredients. Stir to incorporate and simmer until zucchini is tender.
