3/4 cup hot water or meat juices
1/3 cup margarine
1/2 cup powdered milk
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp sugar
1 egg, beaten
3 cups whole wheat flour
Place margarine into container of food processor. Pour hot water or juice over margarine. Add powdered milk, salt, sugar and egg. Begin processing, and gradually add flour, about 1/2 cup at a time, through top opening of processor until you have a stiff dough. Remove dough from container, place on a floured board or surface, and knead by hand 3-4 minutes. Roll out 1/2-inch thick and cut into shapes. Bake in 325-degree oven for 50 minutes. Cool completely. Store in covered container. Will keep unrefrigerated for 2 weeks.
