Here are some links to sites which have the tools I use to create graphics, as well as some links to other sites offering free graphics which I have used in the past as a fledgling webmaster.

The first and foremost tool is, of course, Paint Shop Pro. Version 9 of the basic program plus version 3 of the Animation Shop just recently came out. I have used a number of different graphics programs, and none compare to PSP. It's a very good investment indeed.

The use of filters and tubes can really jazz up your graphics and enhance the enjoyment of your creations. Here are my links to sites which offer free filters and tubes for downloading as well as tutorials on making your own.

I also use several java applets for image manipulation. My favorites are, of course, David Griffiths' famous lake applet, applets which generate the appearance of moving water, and slide shows. Visiting other graphics sites is good for getting ideas for your graphics, and I have found many of them to be quite inspirational. Here are some links to sites offering free graphics I have visited and/or downloaded from.

I'm just starting to get my feet wet with animation, so I mainly use free animated graphics offered by other sites. Here are my favorites.

Of course fonts are a very important integral part of designing a visually attractive web page. As for me, I'm a fontaholic! LOL
