The Stars In The Sky

Lying here in the warm, comforting spa, I stretch out my limbs, Letting the therapeutic current Relax my body and mind, While the cool mist of the night air Gently caresses my face. I look up and see the glorious Moon Lighting up the clear, dark sky... And stars...each one different, Each one with its divine purpose. I see a small distant star... So inconspicuous... Yet shining brightly on its own... "Is that the star that brought me 1,000 miles closer to you?" I wonder. And that big, bold, brilliant star That I can almost reach out and touch... "That must be the star That brought us together," I think to myself. And I wonder if you are gazing At the same star this very moment... And sharing the same thoughts... As I meditate upon that special star, I lift my spirit to the heavens And become lost in my thoughts of you... Of us... And I remember you telling me To imagine you there with me... Holding me close... Searching the stars... For the right one to wish upon.
