Hi everybody and Merry Christmas! Mommy let me have my own Christmas page this year (She helped a little.) so that I could share in the fun too! I'm getting to be a big kitty now; I'm 5 months old! Mommy tells everyone I'm going through my "terrible twos," whatever that means. I've learned lots of new tricks over the past 3 months, and am getting around a whole lot more. I'm having a great time helping Mommy decorate the house. Everything looks so pretty! I just hafta play with things, ya know, especially the shiny stuff....giggle! Why don't you come on in and see my decorations? I've invited some friends over to help us celebrate. Just jump on in and join us!
Isn't my tree just gorgeous? We worked on it for quite awhile. Mommy let me help with it, but she had to shoo me away when she was trying to put the popcorn garland on it. I kept tryin' to eat it....teeheehee! I love the blinking lights too!
We have lots of toys that move and do things. I like to chase them. Only I don't really know what to do with them when I catch them....
Mommy fixed up the fireplace with some pretty decorations. One of my favorite places to take a lil' cat-nap is on the furry rug in front of the fireplace. It's hard to keep my eyes open when everything is nice and warm!
The party is starting to get underway, Mommy is playing my favorite Christmas song, we've got lots of snacks and milk for everybody, and we're all decked out in Christmassy outfits.
Mommy told me all about Santa Claus and since this is my very first Christmas, I'm really looking forward to his visit! Mommy said that he's checking his list and checking it twice to find out if I've been naughty or nice. I have to be a good girl or he wont come to my house.
Then, on Christmas Eve, he'll come down the chimney right into the living room (Gee, I hope the fireplace isn't on!) and leave me some toys and gifts. And we have to leave him some cookies and milk by the fireplace. Mommy says I have to be asleep. But I'm gonna try and catch him when he comes down the chimney....teeheehee!
When Santa is all done leaving the gifts and eating his cookies and drinking his milk, then he'll get back into the fireplace, tweak his nose, and FLY back up the chimney to his sleigh to go visit more kitties and leave them presents too!
Well, I'm all tired out from the party, my tummy is full, and I'm getting real sleepy. I guess it must be time for another one of my naps. Hmmmmmmmm.... there's a strange man sitting in Daddy's chair by the fireplace sound asleep. I wonder who he is. He looks real nice. I wonder if he'd mind if I curled up in his lap for my cat-nap. I think I'll go check him out while you go visit more Christmas pages. So, nighty-night for now, and I hope you all have as nice of a Christmas as I'm having!
